Pawan is amongst the few real estate professionals who possess both investing and development experience in Real Estate. In his previous role as an MD & CEO of ADDRESS MAKER, he successfully started ADDRESS MAKER in 2012 and delivered over 7 mn sq ft of real estate under his leadership in Bengaluru, India.
Pawan has over 29 years of experience in Real Estate, Private Equity, Business Strategy and Technology Consulting. His ardent instinct, diligence and experience enabled him to transform ADDRESS MAKER into a successful professionally run Real Estate developer in Bengaluru.
As Investment Partner with Piramal Fund Management, Pawan was responsible for leading, mentoring and monitoring Private Equity real estate investments in South India. Before moving to India, he worked for IBM in London where he was responsible for developing business strategies for several European and Middle Eastern clients in the financial services sector. Prior to his MBA, Pawan worked for the Global Equities division of Deutsche Bank, Singapore, as a Business and Technology Analyst. He was a summer intern with the Corporate Strategy Group of The World Bank, Washington D.C., during his MBA.
Pawan is a fitness enthusiast — he has successfully completed Full and Half Iron Triathlons, which are widely considered to be the most difficult one-day sporting events in the world. He was one of the top athletes at IIT Bombay, whom he represented in athletics. He is also an avid trekker and has enjoyed a few treks in the Indian Himalayas. He is fond of western music (60's to 80's genre) and has moonlighted as a Radio Jockey on Mumbai FM (1997–2000), hosting live shows on contemporary and western classics every Sunday.
Pawan did his BTech from IIT Bombay and an MBA from the University of Oxford, UK.
